WellStone provides a full range of mental health and substance use recovery services to meet the needs of children, adults, and families throughout North Alabama. We serve more than 12,000 individuals every year, and provide more than $3.5 million in uncompensated care. Our comprehensive services range from traditional psychiatric and therapy visits to intensive inpatient and residential programs. WellStone’s continuum of care ensures access to the help you need—when you need it.

WellStone is more than a healthcare provider—we’re a community 501(c)3 nonprofit deeply rooted in North Alabama. Since 1969, we’ve believed that everyone in our community deserves access to safe, compassionate care for mental health and substance use. As an accredited organization, we depend on the generosity of donors, advocates, and partners to expand our reach and strengthen our programs.
