Nova Academy (Ages 3 – 5)

When Your Child Needs a Strong Start

Nova Academy is a half-day therapeutic preschool program designed to help children ages 3–5 manage big emotions, build confidence, and develop the skills they need for kindergarten and beyond. Offered Monday through Friday, the program provides:

Early Intervention

Guidance for parents to support emotional and social growth

Behavioral Support

Strategies to manage behaviors and build coping skills

Family-Focused Care

Strengthening parent-child relationships for life-long success
Our Kids (Ages 9 – 13)

After School Behavioral Skills Program

The After School Behavioral Skills program in Cullman schools is tailored for children experiencing behavioral challenges, aiming to address problematic behaviors and promote healthier family dynamics. The goal of this program is to prevent the need for more intensive interventions as children get older.
  • Ages 9 – 13
  • Monday – Friday
  • After school until 7pm
  • Referral by DHR or JPO is required

School-Based Services

When a Student Needs Extra Support

School-based services are available at over 60 schools across Madison County, Huntsville City Schools, Cullman County, and Cullman City Schools. WellStone mental health professionals work directly with local schools, partnering with principals, guidance counselors, and teachers to provide behavioral health services to students K-12.

Therapists provide individual sessions at school, focused on achieving academic success, improving interpersonal and communication skills, strengthening relationships with family and peers, and developing effective coping strategies.

Our services help students navigate challenges, including:
