WellStone Behavioral Health joined the Huntsville Housing Authority and several other agencies on Thursday December 10, 2015 to celebrate the grand opening of the One Stop Shop. A project of the Huntsville Housing Authority, the new community center will house various social support agencies and will serve west Huntsville residents in one convenient location at 2201 Clinton Avenue. The building opened with appearances from Housing Authority Executive Director Michael Lundy, Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle, Councilman Richard Showers and several other agency representatives. WellStone will locate a counselor at the One Stop Shop who can provide mental health and/or substance abuse treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. The location will also enable WellStone to better collaborate with other agencies and to use the office as a base for outreach efforts to the homeless population.

The One Stop Shop partners are the Community Action Partnership of Huntsville/Madison & Limestone Counties, Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Alabama, Stepping Stone, Wellstone Behavioral Health and 4Sight.
