The Nova Center provides compassionate, evidence-based services to help young people and their families navigate substance use challenges through both prevention and treatment programs.
Prevention Services
Nova Center’s Prevention Services aim to keep youth safe and healthy by delaying or preventing the use of alcohol, tobacco, and drugs.

Focused on high-risk youth in group settings

Life skills education to build coping strategies and resiliency

Collaboration with community leaders to influence policy and reduce early drug use
Treatment Services
Outpatient treatment is available at Nova Center offices in both Huntsville and Cullman for adolescents experiencing substance use issues.

Individual Counseling: One-on-one therapy tailored to each youth’s needs

Intensive Outpatient Counseling (IOP): Group sessions held during evening hours, typically lasting several weeks with multiple sessions per week

Step-down care: Transition to less intensive services when ready

Referrals accepted from schools, families, juvenile justice system, and community partners
